Trump's Granddaughter Gets Professional Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of LPGA First Appearance

Young golfer getting ready for major competition

The rising star maintains considerable online following

The young golfer will have plenty of well-known cheerleaders as she makes her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to Donald Trump, was granted a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

The former president, someone who loves golf, operates multiple golf courses and often competes against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we have competitive games," she mentioned.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who cannot attend, advised her: "Just don't get nervous."

"He essentially told me to go out there and relax," she explained.

"To me, he's simply a regular grandfather. He's not attending for the tournament. He's occupied with world affairs, so he's quite busy."

While still amateur, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments this year and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

Yet she's able to receive tips from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with her mother.

"He is the greatest golfer globally," Kai expressed.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive person. He advised me to play, relax, adapting to whatever happens."

Kai will face several top competitors in the sport at the Annika, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that involving Kai exposes golf to new audiences, especially reaching the next generation.

The young star boasts a massive following and recently launched her own clothing and lifestyle label.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
