Barça to Host Inaugural Match at Renovated Camp Nou over the weekend
Barça revealed their first game will take place at the partially upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday. The club will host the Bilbao team in domestic competition two and a half years following their departure to allow renovations to start.
“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees can be present as per the current authorization. After final construction, it will accommodate close to 105,000 fans, up from the previous 99,000. Barça announced finished work included a renovated tunnel for players along with upgraded changing facilities.

The club conducted a fan-accessible workout on the home pitch in early November. Officials stated approval is being pursued by UEFA to play their next home Champions League game against Eintracht Frankfurt in December in the renovated venue. Their recent games have been held at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
